Leonard Auction, was founded by auctioneer and appraiser John Leonard in 2006. Our first auction house located in Naperville, Illinois opened May 1, 2006. The business grew rapidly and we quickly outgrew our space. This prompted our September 2007 move to our current auction house located in Addison, Illinois. Our 8,000 square foot auction house features ample display, office and warehouse space to serve our clients and customers alike.
We are a member of the Illinois State Auctioneers Association and the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA. We have sold a variety of antiques & collectibles including (but certainly not limited to): furniture, fine art & sculpture, jewelry, dolls, clocks, cars, tractors, books, phones, china, desks, pottery, crystal, bottles, radios, watches, silver, glass, tools and slot machines. Whether you want to sell a single item, or an entire estate or business, we have a solution that will fit your needs.
Leonard Auction conducts a series of auctions each month. The auctions generally occur on the third weekend of each month. Our Friday night Coin & Currency auction features 300-400 lots of high-end collectible coins, currency, gold, silver and stamps. Our Marketplace Auction, held on Saturday, feature 300-500 lots of collectible and household items from estates and consignments that are generally valued at under $50. Our Sunday, Antiques & Estates Auction features high-end items including Fine Art, Furniture, Jewelry, Silver, Glass & Crystal, Rugs & Textiles, and Pottery.
