Set of (4) modeled by F.E. Meyer c.1760, each standing on a high base molded with gilt-edged scrollwork; including “Spring” as a classical nymph standing by an urn of flowers and holding a posy; “Summer” similarly clad, standing by an urn filled with leaves and holding a wheat sheaf; “Autumn” as a young man holding grapes and a goblet; and “Winter” as a bearded man wearing a fur-lined cloak warming his hands over a fire; all but “Summer” having underglaze blue crossed swords marks to hollowed-out undersides, “Summer” having solid base and crossed swords mark to reverse at lower edge
