ESTATE CLEAN OUTS
Due to time constraints and other circumstances, many of our clients prefer an “all-inclusive” approach that includes a clean out of the estate residence. We strive to provide the best return for the estate by maximizing items for auction, utilizing our donation partners and quickly disposing of rubbish. Our team manages the entire process for you, from donation arrangements to disposing of rubbish and unwanted items, Leonard Auction leaves the residence “broom swept” clean and ready for the real estate market.
THE ESTATE CLEAN OUT PROCESS
Leonard Auction will provide a complimentary evaluation of the estate clean out based on photographs. After reviewing the photographs, we will follow up with an on-site visit to finalize a quote and discuss the logistics of a clean-out.
LOCATE ITEMS FOR AUCTION
The expert team at Leonard Auction will begin the clean-out process by searching and locating the higher-end items that will sell well at an auction. We have the experience and the knowledgeable experts who ensure that valuable items are found. These items will be carefully packaged for transport to the Leonard Auction Auction. The items will be included as part of a future auction.
After removing the high-end valuables from the residence, the team manager will coordinate donating usable items to local charities. These items typically include the canned and boxed foods, clothing and household items. We have many contacts with charities in the Chicago area and will work with your specific charity as well to ensure that your items are given to a worthwhile cause.
TRASH DISPOSAL & JUNK HAULING
After donating as many items are possible to local charities, the team at Leonard Auction will remove the rubbish from the residence. Typically this includes spoiled food, household chemicals, paints and oils and scrap wood.
FINAL WALK THROUGH
Leonard Auction will ensure that the residence is left in "broom swept" condition and ready for the real estate market. The team manager will always do a final walk-through with you to ensure that every nook and cabinet has been emptied and all items have been removed.
