(6) items, including restrike etching after Albrecht Durer “Melancholia I”, depicting an allegorical scene of a seated female figure in a landscape; (3) engravings after Robert Benard pulled from Diderot and d’Alembert’s “Encyclopedie”, each depicting carriage parts and manufacture; a hand-colored engraving “A Messieurs les Souscripteurs”, unsigned, depicting a crowd of villagers attacking a partially deflated balloon; and after George Brannon “Norris Castle, Isle of Wight” hand-colored engraving, depicting sailboats on the water before a hilltop castle; all items framed, all under glass except Durer
