Tai language family, unidentified script, accordion fold book opening both ways, on parabaik paper, all edges gilt, having flexible leather-covered boards, (62) leaves written upon both sides in ink, (32) gouache paintings; together with (2) partial books written in different hands and scripts with one consisting of (2) fragments having (7) leaves and (3) paintings, the other having (8) leaves and (8) paintings

Condition: Fair, overall light to moderate wear consistent with normal use; heavy edge wear at center to leather covers and preliminary leaves; water marks and staining to blank preliminaries and occasionally throughout, some dark; occasional foxing throughout; partial books fragmentary and worn
