(2) folded steel daggers including an Indonesian style kris / keris having clearly visible pamor pattern on blade including intricate perabot with mendak having (9) faceted topaz stones around entire circumference, with an ornately carved bone handle marked “1786” having additional carved elements on wood scabbard; and an Indian “scissor” katar / jamdhar sehlikaneh having ornate floral inlay on outer blades, all sides of handlebars and cross guards; outer blades open when handlebars are squeezed revealing additional central blade forged from damascus / watered steel, having visible patterning and additional inlay in the form of crossed vajra on each side, including velvet covered wood sheath

Condition: Very Good, overall light wear consistent with age, material and normal use; kris handle having few minor stress cracks following bone grain and small stress crack on flared upper portion of wood scabbard that do not compromise the integrity of the piece and mendak is missing a single topaz; katar mechanism working very well with blades opening evenly when pressure is applied and closing tightly when pressure is released; katar having few minor scratches to upper portion of handle and few areas of wear to inlay resulting in dulling of color only and do not reflect losses to inlay material
